In the book of numbers you can read the following verse which you may already heard many times.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."

Numbers 6:24-26

These verses are the oldest known blessing. It's a wish which contains so many good things.

You hear it often in church, at the end of the service.

But what is a blessing? What does it mean?

If you give blessings to someone, you send out a wish that the good things in life will increase, that they are getting more and more.
But God doesn't stop here. He boosts it. It's not only that he wants to increase the good in your life. He wants to turn even the bad things that happen to you into a blessing.
So if you are stuck into a stupid situation and everything went wrong, then God can turn this into something good. He can use it to bless you.

So God is bringing you this blessing today. He will multiply the good in your life. And he will turn the bad into good.Trust in him!
