Impulse for your month

Now it's already March - incredible how fast time flies by. Maybe you already noticed the first signs of spring around you, maybe you're still snowed in (Like some parts of the United States.)
However, today I don't want to talk about spring, I want to talk about music - about guitars in particular.

I guess you heard a guitar playing at some points in your life, either in the radio or live, maybe you know somebody in person who plays the guitar or you even play it yourself. I can tell, it's fun and a nice instrument to play because even with only few knowledge you're able to play along plenty of songs.
The thing about the guitar is, it has to be tuned properly or it sounds... well, not good. At all. If only one of the six strings is out of tune the whole harmony is destroyed and you can forget playing along nicely. The more strings are out of tune, the worse it gets.
So what do you do? Exactly: you tune it. There are several apps for the smartphone to use or just the good old tuner. They're pretty easy to handle but it still takes some precision to make the strings sound harmonical again. Once you got the turn it's an easy thing to handle and you can do it fast and efficient because you hear how the guitar needs to be tuned.
Now what on earth does the guitar have to do with your faith??!
That's easy: You're the guitar. "What?" Yes, you're the guitar. You and your faith in God, your the guitar and the harmony. Imagine you've been living in good faith and trust in God, praying a lot and everthing seems to go just as it's perfectly supposed to be. You're tuned.
But there's also points in your life where you might be a bit out of tune. Sometimes only on one string (remember that little lie about your homework?) which is easy to correct to make your life "sound" good again. Sometimes you might be totally out of tune and that's when things get comlicated. Everything is messed up and it takes an accurate ear to clear the disharmony.
Imagine God is the guitar player. He can make you sound beautiful again. He loves you (his instrument so to say) and he wants you to sound nice. So let him tune you. Let him work with you, because as with the actual guitar he only needs a few riffs to make big impact and play whole songs. You can change lives, just as songs can do.

Let God tune you this month. He wants you to sound nice (;
