"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
This Bible verse is in my brain since I watched the video for the first time.
Every time I think, wow this people are trusting in the strength of GOD.
Rick is a man, born with a handicap. He could neither walk nor talk. And nobody believed in him. But then he could tell people what he wants. He got a computer to talk with, by thoughts. Then the people got to know his intelligence. He got his autonomy, but for one thing he needed the helping hand of his lovely father.
His biggest wish was to run a marathon. But he’s not able to do this on his own legs. So he asks his father for help.
But his father is not the youngest person and he has a heart disease.
Would it be able for him to do this for his son?
Of course. They did it together. Till now they did over 1000 marathons, triathlons and so on. And they did an Iron Man together - the hardest triathlon of the world.
Isn’t it incredible?
I think this father should get soooo much respect for this.
The love of this father is so incredibly big, that he do this for his son on and on again.
Their slogan is: Yes You Can.
“Yes You Can” too.
You can do everything with God our father in heaven.
Think of God. Isn’t God such an lovely father as, Ricks father? God would do everything for us to help us. God is there everytime. God makes impossible things possible.
The only thing we have to do is to believe in him. Sure, life is not easy at every time and not everything could work for the first time. But we’re able to accomplish it.
I wish you think of this fact, on and on.
