Be the fire
The summer is over and the time of Autumn comes. What happens in Autumn? Exactly: the leaves on the trees become red and fall down.
Did you look outside during the last few days?
The maple stands out all the other trees because of its deep red colour. Some oaks also have a beautiful red, sometimes almost brown. A lot of the other trees aren't coloured yet and they won't get such a great colour They will only be yellow or brown.
Only one cold night turns the green leaves into a fire of red colour when the sun is shining. That's great.
God wants to do the same with you. He wants you to step out of the mass of normal people. When we come to him and accept him as our father, he will turn us into a bright lighting fire of faith. Our colour is changed then and other people may see us in an different way than they did before.
The difference between us and the red leaves in fall is, that our fire won't end. The leaves fall down, but our fire stays in the world as long as we are alive.
Stay in faith and God will turn you into this shining fire. Be the fire for the world and bring this light into the darkness!
